Guess what? Red Rocks PTA is in the running for the Jane Hammond Applause Award for 2002 - 2003 school year. If we win, this award would mean $500.00 that our PTA can support great programs for our kids. The criteria, for winning the award, are to document outstanding parental involvement and to increase in our membership of 20% over last year. What do we need to do to win this award? We have outstanding community involvement and we need to increase our membership! We are really, really close! Thank you to those who have already joined, opted out and especially 100% of our staff! Please help us to make it over the top. If you haven't signed up for PTA membership yet, now is the time to do it! Fill out the form at the bottom of this page and return it to the office along with a check for $5.25 and we just might make it. What do we do with the money you might ask? Well in the past, we have purchased classroom materials, computers. music stands for the band and music classes, a sound system, a weather station, speakers for assemblies, special programs such as Reflections, Arts Around, and the most recent hit…a climbing wall for the gym. If you have not done so already, please consider supporting your school with a PTA membership.
